Design Guidelines

In a new community, Design Guidelines help set a tone and consistency by encouraging all new homes to be of an equal standard with complimentary design features. The aim is to create an overall sense of cohesion of the streetscape within your new community, which is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and aims to protect your investment in the long term.

When you purchase your lot with AVID Property Group, your development may have Design Guidelines that apply.

AVID have a design assessment team that help you to gain your design approval. If you require further information regarding your design guidelines or the design guideline approval process please contact you Project Sales Manager or your National Customer Service Manager Michele Peska.

Gaining the right approvals to build

Once your home design is approved by AVID, a building permit from your local Council or a private building surveyor prior to commencing construction is also needed to commence building your home.

We recommend you speak with your builder and local Council to understand what is required for you to gain the correct approvals.
