“Settlement” is when title ownership of your block of land is legally transferred from AVID Property Group’s name, into your name (the person or entity on the sales contract). This will occur after registration of the plan of subdivision and when the purchase price for the land has been paid in full by you (or via your lender) to AVID Property Group.
You will be notified by our National Customer Service Manager at significant points along your settlement journey as to when settlement will be anticipated to occur.
It is important that you understand your sales contract and are prepared once settlement is called upon. Settlement occurs in accordance with the time specified in your sales contract. You and your nominated legal representative will be notified directly by AVID Property Group’s legal representatives once the subdivision has been registered, so that you may prepare for settlement.
